"As Australia continues to debate the proposed introduction of a national carbon tax, a Ballarat company is leading the way in cutting emissions. Infinity Entertainment Ballarat set out to show that small businesses can offset their carbon emissions and show larger industry the way. Already Infinity has offset 25 tonnes of annual emissions, and expects to continue to cut its carbon pollution in future years. The company has charged staff with the challenge of cutting emissions from every event it is involved in. It has also stopped print-based advertising and implemented sustainable business practices."

• Infinity Entertainment have offset 25 tonnes of carbon through its "Going Green" initiative. The offset we have made does not relate to our overall production of carbon. As a small business we produce little to no carbon through our events and our going green initiative is a proactive approach to showing that small business to, can make a real difference.
• Infinity Eertainment do undertake print-based advertising, however, where possible always take an environmentally friendly approach.
